Tribute acts are much more than ‘impersonators’. A good tribute will bring the look, sound and atmosphere of their subject to life before your eyes. Booking a tribute act is a great way to pass a fun evening of live entertainment dedicated to an artiste or era of your choice.
We have access to a growing list of tributes currently numbering approximately one hundred and thirty which we can’t possibly list in full here so please do get in touch for more information. If your favourite style or decade isn’t on our list we’ll go out and find it!
As an example of the range and variety of tribute acts available here are a selection of some favourites currently enjoying great success across Northern Ireland and the UK.
Soul Sensation are a County Down band with a European touring circuit. You can read more about their tribute to the Commitments, the Blues Brothers, and that forever glamorous era of suits, shades and trilby hats here.
What A Feeling are all about the 80s. A big enough band to have a disco on their own, this fresh, totally live act comes with sound engineers, roadies, and an amazing light show.
Normally starting with a big intro then launching into the best selling single of 1980, Pink Floyd’s Another Brick in the Wall. After three songs from 1980, a quick vocal recap of major events during the year leads onto songs from 1981 and so it continues for 2hrs 15 minutes before an 80s Disco to round off the evening.
There’s a 15 minutes interval during the show but music continues to play during this period.
ABBAtastic do just what you’d think in a professional and lively show that will capture the eyes and imagination of any audience. We see no need say to any more!
Jesse Garron is Scotland’s veritable Monarch of Rock n’ Roll, the blue haired (yes!) multi-instrumentalist with the golden throat has been voted Most Exciting Artiste (2008) and Best International Artiste (2009) by RTE.
A masterful showman, and as sensitive to the audience as a tuning fork is to a piano, his Remember Then show chronicles all the great Rock ‘n’ Roll & Rock-a-Billy classics and happenings from 1950 onwards (Bill Haley, Elvis, Fats, Buddy, Jerrylee, Eddie, Chuck, Roy, The Everlys, Cliff, Billy, P,J,). Jesse can also be supported by his flawless ensemble of band & dancers “The Wreckin Crew”. Whatever you choose, this show is a roller coaster ride of pure nostalgia.
The Michael Buble Tribute Show: Less of a tribute, more a re-enactment and direct replication of the man himself, members of Michael Buble’s camp agree that James Huish is a great representative and ambassador for Michael Buble. James has earned his right to perform in this amazing exhilarating show of such huge songs, having grown as an artist after years singing in workings men’s clubs and smokey lounges, weddings and corporate events and even musicals, all of which have really honed his performance skills.
“You have to connect with the audience, that’s what its all about, being on stage and entertaining people. My inspiration, like Michael’s, comes in many forms; people like Elvis Presley, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Sammy Davis Jnr. They act, they sing, they dance and they made people laugh. They were entertainers. Buble was so right when he said that it’s a lost art now.”
